Style Maven

Taylor Tomasi-Hill, accessories director at Marie Claire, and one of my greatest role models. She's super chic and even more successful. Taylor started off her career as a fashion design student at Pratt before landing several magazine internships. Her last internship at W turned into a full time job where she was in charge of managing the magazine's fashion closet. From there, she was offered the position of accessories director at Teen Vogue. In August 2009, Taylor jumped ship from Conde Nast to Hearst where she currently serves as style and accessories director at Marie Claire.

Abbey Lee Kershaw skipped New York Fashion Week this year to go on tour with her "moody, retro-psychedelic" band, Our Mountain. The latest issue of Russh profiles Abbey and her band in the annual "Music Issue". The pictorial of Our Mountain, on the road definitely has its hippie-grunge charm.

I have been itching to get my hands on the spring 2011 collection from STONE_COLD_FOX for a long time now. Naturally, I was beyond delighted when I learned Luv Aj  featured the line in their spring lookbook. SCF satisfies my vintage and feminine cravings without getting too kitschy, like many contemporary brands do in their attempts to re-create the 70's glam. SCF has perfected laid-back Cali girl meets Almost Famous. STONE_COLD_FOX is effortlessly nostalgic. Now I just have to wait for the collection to hit the stores!!
