With Morocco as the new "It" destination, the exotic country's influence is popping up all over the fashion industry. Gucci's Spring 2011 handbag collection is inspired by the sensuous Marrakesh. Marrakesh was the late fashion designer, Yves Saint Laurent's favorite vacation spot. Laurent owned a house about 20 minutes outside of the Medina that served as his personal oasis whenever he needed inspiration for a new collection. His ashes were scattered in the estate's gardens. Today the late designer's house is best known as the Marjolle Gardens. xx, E
